The Fire trees are ablaze with colors, blooms big and small. The weather turns from cool to warm to hot. The birds chirp merrily, gathering nest materials. I thirst for iced water, I yearn to feel cool. But summer is here with all of its own special quirks. It will soon pass, to give way to the monsoon rains, so I decide to feast on the colors of summer, to feel the heat warm my heart, to delight in the happy chirping of the birds.
I’m starting to enjoy summer.
