I am a feature writer from the Philippines and this blog is my attempt at poetry. I have no formal training in writing, but I love the written word and somehow that love for writing has enabled me to turn it into a profession. Poetry has always intrigued me, and so here, I try to write through verses and rhymes.
I also write small stones in this blog. I learned about “writing small stones” from the website, Writing Our Way Home. A small stone is a writing tool that teaches us how to write mindfully. Akin to a Haiku without the rules, “a small stone is a short piece of writing that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment.”
This blog is my own little basket of small stones.
You will also find little nuggets of wisdom from the olden days in “Ancient Wisdom,” some sayings gleaned from hours spent in meditation in “Lights Along Our Path,” as well as my personal koans and musings.
May your stay here be fulfilling.
